Hope your day is a great one, Bonnie!

Conversation
I always learn so much listening to the grands. They are full of wisdom and enlighten me on a regular basis. I wish I had been privy to this conversation. I'd bet I would have learned a lot!
(Bridgette said that Luci took a picture she had painted to show Harris and he was quite amazed by it.)

Country Girls
Our granddaughters are little country girls. Oh, they may live in the city limits of a small town, but really, they are country girls.
They have a new baby calf that they are raising with a bottle. Luci has fallen in love with "Ole Bandit."
She and the baby calf took a little time to check out the other, older animals across the fence. Then, another day, we got a video sent to us by Bridgette and Lydia and Luci were practicing...

One Like This
What is it about boys and sticks? Jessica says Harris seems to always have a stick when he is outside playing. He and his dog, Hope, seem to find lots of them. The other day, Jessica said they stopped to look at a neighbor's donkeys and Harris picked up a stick. When she told him to put it down so that they could go home, he said, "Can I take this stick home?"
Jessica replied, "You and Hope have lots of sticks at home already, buddy."
Harris let her know, "I don't have one like this!"

What the Little Sister Does
A couple of weeks ago, the older two granddaughters played in a softball tournament. Of course, we visited the concession stand after each game to get the ball player a treat. But, do you have any idea what the little sister does while the big sisters are playing in their ballgames?
Well, she has to have a treat from the concession stand, too. Notice the ring-pop?
Somebody at the park had a birthday to celebrate and little Luci certainly did her part celebrating.
I think it must have been tasty, don't you?

Play Time!
We went up the hill the other afternoon and I got to play with this fellow while his Mom was feeding little brother and starting their family dinner.
One shoe on and one shoe off and still we had lots of fun!
We made all sorts of music with a plastic spoon, some tins, and a fence panel. I would bang and he would dance around and Levi would bang and I would dance around.
Then, he heard Daddy drive up the driveway and Grand B wasn't nearly as much fun anymore!
Ah, good times!
