What is it about ice and water on a hot day that draws little boys like metal to a magnet?
(Notice that little tub set to catch the water dripping from the melting ice? It was to prevent a puddle from forming or a slippery floor and I think it was put there by Somebody's Daddy.)
Is it just curiosity?
Is it that cool, refreshing taste of the ice melting on the tongue?
Is it the good feeling of that icy coolness?
Just what is so compelling about it?
Is it just a way to keep busy or to stay cool?
And who dumped that little tub of water?
