My father-in-law said goodbye to us last week.
We already miss him.

His strong work ethic

His subtle guidance and teaching
His youthful enthusiasm
His pride and commitment to family
His respectful considerate-ness toward others

His loyalty and dedication
His exuberant sense of humor
His generosity
His outspokenness
His wonder of life
His strength
His presence
The world has a hole in it now that cannot be filled.
We can only try extra-hard to follow his example.
We will miss this southern gentleman.
