Another Boy in the Family!

My side of the family has been overwhelmed with girls for a long time.  First, there was my Daddy's crew - three girls and two boys.  Next, there was my Mom's crew - three girls and one boy.  Then, my sister and me.  Next came three girls from my sister and a girl and boy from me.

I joined Mike's family where there had been lots of boys.  His dad had a brother and his mother had two brothers and a sister.  Next, Mike has an older brother.  Then, he has two nephews and a niece and his own son and daughter.

Yet, when our clans merged, we had four granddaughters.

Last year, things were spiced up a bit when Harris came along to make grand number five.  Now we are ultra-excited to have another little fellow who has joined the fold!

Meet Levi...

Well, actually, we were introduced to him in a far, far different way...

Remember when we were asked if we were Ready for July?

Then, were told to hold off on buying a bunch of pink because the next ultrasound looked just a bit different...

Then, on the very last day of July, we were introduced to little Levi this way...

After some time with his sweet mother, Bonnie, Daddy Stephen, brought him into the nursery for all the world to see...

He was diapered and thoroughly inspected...

He was weighed and stretched out...

Daddy Stephen was asked questions and given information...

He was measured this way and that...

He was checked out and documentation was made all about him...

He cooperated with all of it...

...with only a bit of protest...

...but was really cute about doing it...

...most of the time...

Everybody has a limit, you know.

The family is doing well and we hope will soon be home here on the homestead.

Mainly we are grateful for such huge miracles and blessings and we are just giddy with excitement to have such a precious, sweet, adorable little boy in the family!
Welcome, little Levi Stephenson!  We already love you more than anybody can imagine.
