Little Brothers!

Mike and I were talking, recently, about how much we enjoy just watching the grands when they are going about their business. It is just entertaining for us to see them interact and watch them learn and grow as little people.

One such time when we just sat and watched was a few days back. Levi and Easton were watching their dad do some digging work and we got such a chuckle at the boys and their actions.

At first, Levi was trying to get Easton to leave him alone so he could watch his dad. So, he walked away from Easton.

He was pretty perturbed at Easton who was picking and poking and tapping with a fist full of pencils. He asked Easton to stop and folded his arms in frustration when that didn't work.
Next, came ignoring. Maybe just pretending he didn't notice would deter the pecking and tapping.
Maybe it would just make Easton peck and poke and tap and jab a little bit more.
All the while, Mike and I just sat and watched and chuckled a little bit. We would poke one another to be sure that the other didn't miss something they were doing and smile about it.
I asked Mike if he had been that way as a little brother and he just burst out laughing before admitting, "You know I was!"
